Minn. school makes math fun with family game night

Students, parents and teachers from Otsego Elementary School in Elk River, Minn., recently came together for the Deal Me In ... Math Games event. The event offered families and students an opportunity to learn card-based math games that they can use anytime to support learning. "Playing games like these together helps build relationships within the family," said second-grade teacher Molly Engebretson. "And it helps students get to be where they need to be. It makes learning fun, too."
