Pepsi unleashes "monster" of a promotion

PepsiCo this week introduced a 60-foot-tall inflatable "Gift Monster" that will serve as the centerpiece of what the company is calling its biggest giveaway ever of promotional merchandise and coupons. The monster, making its debut in New York City, was slated to make stops at Times Square and a dozen other Big Apple spots and also will appear at the Super Bowl and star in a post-game spot created by Omnicom Group's BBDO.
