NSAIDs are better than acetaminophen for menstrual cramps

Women with menstrual pain get better relief taking a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug rather than acetaminophen, according to an analysis of studies in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. Researchers said there was not enough evidence to determine whether a specific NSAID is the safest and most effective.
