CSX: $26M investment to allow more crude-by-rail shipments

CSX will invest $26 million in its River Line network between northern New Jersey and Albany, N.Y., to add capacity for crude-by-rail shipments. Projected demand for petroleum shipments in New Jersey and the Philadelphia area "may be as much as five trains per day, or over 400,000 barrels, over the next couple of years," said Oscar Munoz, CSX executive vice president and chief operating officer.
