U.S. consumers will spend $37.44 billion on purchases made using their smartphones and tablets in 2013, according to an eMarketer analysis, compared with $23.72 billion in 2012. The uptick will be driven, in part, by a 24% increase in the total number of mobile shoppers, who will account for 62% of all digital shoppers by the end of the year.
