UMKC nursing school gets money for 240 scholarships

The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing will use a $2.4 million grant to give scholarships to 240 students to increase under-represented populations, including minorities and men, in the nursing profession. Scholarships will be worth $10,000 per year over four years.
