As the implementation of the Affordable Care Act continues, business owners will spend this year getting ready for the new requirements, writes Dinah Wisenberg Brin. Businesses with more than 50 full-time employees may be forced to provide insurance or pay a penalty under the law, which makes determining the size of your workforce essential. "Smaller companies with fewer than 50 employees, while not required to provide health insurance, need to inform employees about the law and make sure new healthcare plans (if they offer them) comply with Obamacare," Wisenberg writes.
