Colo. civil unions bill set for debate this week

A Democratic takeover of the Colorado House last year makes it more likely state lawmakers will pass a civil unions bill soon, but that hasn't stopped some religious groups from protesting the measure. "Near as I can tell, there's no pleasing them, so I'm not even going to try," said openly gay Sen. Pat Steadman, a Democrat, referring to the Catholic Church.
