Companies put emphasis on increasing employee well-being

A company that struggled with health care costs and productivity issues used Healthway's Well-Being Assessment tool to help employees create personalized plans, which included access to coaches, that led to higher scores on well-being measures. LuAnn Heinen of the National Business Group on Health said measuring well-being in the workplace is a "continuation of the evolution we've seen in worksite wellness."
