FMI conference theme: Changing food culture

Speakers at FMI's Midwinter Executive Conference in Scottsdale, Ariz., discussed a two-year study that found that food culture has moved from cooking to eating. "An eating culture is inherently more inclusive than a cooking culture," said Daymon Worldwide CEO Carla Cooper, who presented the study with Hartman Group founder Harvey Hartman. "Food is now everywhere, and our routine engagement with it is more direct and personal than ever before," Hartman said.
