Keystone XL's new route across Neb. gets governor's approval

TransCanada's proposed route for its Keystone XL pipeline through Nebraska was cleared by Gov. Dave Heineman. The American Petroleum Institute welcomed the approval as it clears a key regulatory hurdle for the project. "With the approval from Nebraska in hand, the president can be confident that the remaining environmental concerns have been addressed," said Marty Durbin, API's executive vice president of government affairs.
