Military researchers pursue answers on TBI

The Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation devoted its most recent issue to highlighting research efforts to develop better understanding of and treatments for combat veterans and service members with traumatic brain injury. A study from the Naval Health Research Center in San Diego found those with TBI were more likely to report ongoing problems such as headaches, dizziness and memory loss, while a study by the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center focused on the increased rate of symptoms with an additional incidence of TBI.
