Northrop to provide DOD with biometrics system

Northrop Grumman has won a $75 million Army contract to provide a biometrics identification system for the DOD. "This biometrics system will be the Department of Defense's biometric repository for all identification types, linking to the intelligence community and civilian agencies, all in a focused effort to address the war on terrorism," says Jill Kale, a vice president for Northrop's IT defense group.
