TBS, marketers show they can take a joke

In a move to get viewers to stick around for the commercial messages, TBS has started running "bitcoms," 30-second spots featuring stand-up comedians who poke gentle fun at participating brands. The "bitcoms" then lead into the advertiser's traditional commercial. So far, companies such as Unilever, Pizza Hut and Staples have signed on.
