VA ramps up effort to move VistA EHR to Defense data centers

The Department of Veterans Affairs will begin migrating its VistA EHR to the Defense Information Systems Agency's data centers in March. The transition, which could take a little over a year to complete, will help facilitate a joint effort by the VA and Defense departments to develop a combined EHR, VA CIO Roger Baker said.
