Apple sells 2M+ set-top boxes in Q1

More than 2 million Apple TV set-top boxes were sold in the first quarter of Apple's fiscal year, up 43% from the 1.4 million sold in the same period a year earlier. Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed the sales figures in a conference call Wednesday with financial analysts, while declining to give a detailed response to an analyst's question about the company's reported development of a television set. "There's a lot we can contribute in this space so we can continue to pull the string and see where it leads us," Cook said.
