Australia steps up cybersecurity game

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard introduced a sweeping national security strategy Wednesday, with a strong focus on bolstering cybersecurity defenses, including the establishment of an Australian Cyber Security Centre. Gillard said Australia had become a prime target for malicious attacks and cyber espionage and noted that the country's strategy will concentrate on state actors instead of rogue hackers, with a particular focus on Asia.
