MHealth market drew $907M in VC investments last year

After a strong first six months in 2012, venture capitalists pulled back on their mobile health investments in the final two quarters of the year, according to Mobile Health Market News, which pegged total 2012 spending at $907.7 million. There was a 6% decline in the fourth quarter, compared with the previous three months. Health IT accounted for the greatest share of investments followed by health care monitoring.
