Reducing salt intake improves vascular function, study finds

A University of Colorado report found that patients with moderate hypertension who restricted their salt intake reversed their vascular endothelial dysfunction. The study in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology said limiting salt had benefits for macrovascular and microvascular functions.
