Study: Local mobile spending to overtake nationwide campaigns

Brands will spend more on local mobile campaigns in 2014 than on national mobile campaigns, according to a BIA/Kelsey projection. The local mobile business is expected to see revenues of $3.1 billion in 2014, versus the projected national mobile ad spending total of $2.9 billion.
