Judge denies motion to stay Calif.'s LCFS-enforcement injunction

A U.S. District Court judge on Monday rejected the California Air Resources Board's motion to stay a ruling issued last month concerning the state's Low Carbon Fuel Standard enforcement. Judge Lawrence O'Neill upheld his Dec. 29 injunction that stopped enforcement of the LCFS because it violated the Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution. Industry groups, including the Renewable Fuels Association, had sought the injunction.
