Some schools in Colorado, where several one-to-one technology programs are under way, are working to implement practices and policies to monitor students' off-campus Internet use and keep students safe online. One trend has schools relying on written agreements with parents taking responsibility for students' online activity outside of school, though some parents oppose the concept. "It's an unacceptable and unreasonable expectation for parents to be Internet police for a school-provided device," parent Joe Morin said.
