Oklahoma looks toward nuclear energy

The state Legislature in Oklahoma, a state known for its production and consumption of fossil fuels, is considering nuclear energy as a way to combat rising energy costs and pollution. "It's the year to have an energy discussion," said House Speaker Chris Benge, R-Tulsa. Among the dozens of energy-related bills filed before the upcoming session were at least four directly related to nuclear energy.
