Calif. regulator adopts rules for classifying hazardous materials

A system for identifying and classifying hazardous chemicals has been established through regulations adopted by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment. The system will be used by the state Department of Toxic Substances Control as it develops a clearinghouse for chemical-hazard information.
