California lawmakers to vote on anti-corn-ethanol bill

The California State Assembly is expected to vote soon on a revised version of a bill that would prevent the California Ethanol Producer Incentive Program from awarding state funds to corn-ethanol projects beyond July 1, 2013. An earlier version of the legislation, which would have dismantled the CEPIP and disqualified corn ethanol from any state funding, was defeated in committee action.
