N.C. city aims to fund 2030 Transit Corridor System Plan

The Metropolitan Transit Commission of Charlotte, N.C., has formed a committee to study funding options for the 2030 Transit Corridor System Plan, particularly a transit tax. Among major projects are a $450 million commuter line to Mooresville and a $500 million streetcar, aside from funds already dedicated to a $1.2 billion expansion of the Lynx line.
