Harrah's Cherokee Casino ups the ante for poker

Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Hotel in Cherokee, N.C., has reserved a room for poker games as part of its gambling-floor expansion. Poker is not currently allowed under the tribe's gambling compact, but the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians will try to renegotiate the terms with the state. The casino currently offers video poker and digital card games at tables.
