Mich. governor declares propane emergency in Upper Peninsula

A propane shortage in Michigan's Upper Peninsula has prompted Gov. Rick Snyder to declare a state of emergency. The shortage resulted from an uptick in propane demand due to the cold weather and an ongoing repair at a Rapid River, Mich., propane terminal. The emergency declaration temporarily lifts rules that limit trucking hours.
