Builders vie for "world's tallest building" title -- despite 9-11

Contrary to predictions that the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks would stifle skyscraper architecture, plans and construction of structures that would dwarf the World Trade Center abound, with designers vying to create the world's tallest building. Contenders include the 1,667-foot Taipei 101 in Taiwan, New York's own 1,776-foot Freedom Tower, and the Burj Dubai in Dubai City -- it's height unknown, but builders claim it will be the world's tallest building.
