Google gives developers more access to ad system

Google has rolled out a beta application programming interface for its AdWords pay-per-click keyword advertising program so that advertisers can customize the service and expand their internal ad tracking systems to interface with AdWords. Google engineer Nelson Minar said, "One of [the] goals is to enable advertisers and third parties to create tools for their own purposes."
