Textron narrows Q4 loss, expects profit in 2010

Textron, the maker of Bell helicopters and Cessna business jets, cut its fourth-quarter loss by nearly 70% following a year of large layoffs and other cost-cutting moves. The company said it lost $63 million in the quarter as revenue fell 20.7%. Excluding special charges, Textron expects to earn between 30 cents and 50 cents per share in 2010.
