American Eagle will turn to large regional jets, CEO says

Dan Garton, president and CEO of American Eagle, told employees Thursday that the carrier "is on track to achieve our own business plan, which projects the replacement of our smaller jets with larger equipment." Parent company AMR Corp. recently selected Republic Airlines to operate some regional flights from Chicago.
