Wind power to help Ohio State save nearly $1M this year

A multiyear deal entered into by Ohio State University to buy 50 megawatts from Iberdrola Renewables' Blue Creek Wind Farm will help the university save nearly $1 million this year on electricity costs, said Scott Potter, Ohio State's senior energy adviser. "This is the largest university purchase of wind power in our company's history, and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership," said Barrett Stambler, a vice president with Iberdrola Renewables.
