TSA agents mistake insulin pump for weapon

Transportation Security Administration agents at Los Angeles International Airport mistook a diabetic traveler's insulin pump for a firearm and detained her for questioning. The woman walked through security before she could be searched. As a result, the security checkpoint was closed and travelers were delayed for about an hour. The woman was later cleared without incident, according to the TSA.
