NHGRI funds studies on ethical aspects of genomics research in Africa

The National Human Genome Research Institute will fund up to four projects at $50,000 each to study societal perspectives in Africa that may affect or be affected by advanced genomics research. The grants are part of the Human Heredity and Health in Africa program, co-sponsored by the Wellcome Trust and the African Society of Human Genetics.
