Fossilized tapeworm eggs predate dinosaur era

Tapeworm eggs discovered in fossilized shark feces in southern Brazil predate the earliest known intestinal parasite by 140 million years. The findings, described in the journal PLoS ONE, means that such parasites existed even long before dinosaurs walked the Earth.
