Ill. city council aims for engagement with strategic plan

The Lake Forest, Ill., City Council unanimously approved a strategic plan that encourages residents' participation. The plan includes working on community character and livability, economic vitality, environmental and fiscal stewardship, human capital, infrastructure and service delivery. The council hopes to get residents involved through monthly town hall meetings, which will begin in February.
