Pa. district ponders math curriculum change for new standards

Elementary-school students in Haverford Township, Pa., have been using Everyday Mathematics for 15 years, but the upcoming transition to the Common Core State Standards has district officials considering new programs they say better align with the standards. Programs under consideration include Math in Focus, Singapore math and enVision Mathematics, officials told school board members during a recent meeting.
