If your company is going through a rough patch, look for candidates with consulting experience, Jackye Clayton suggests. "They are used to going into crazy environments who are crying out for help," Clayton writes. Don't lie about your company's troubles, or else your new hires will soon turn into disgruntled employees and further drag down your company's culture, she writes.
