Should parents help foot the bill for classroom technology?

One North Carolina school district is proposing parents pitch in to help pay for classroom technology to help keep pace with emerging technology amid slow budget decisions. Students whose families cannot afford the costs could receive help from sources such as Parent Teacher Associations, officials said.
