A green roof with an irregular pitch has helped a 62,400-square-foot building at the Amsterdam University College in the Netherlands achieve sustainability, according to this article. The structure sports sedums to add insulation, manage stormwater and control the indoor temperature. "The troughs of the tilted roof ... are set diagonally in relation to the rest of the rectangular floor plan, creating an eye-catching, open loft space on the top floor," writes Randy Woods.
