Minn. teens gather for state STEM summit

For the fifth consecutive year, St. Cloud State University welcomed high-school students from across central Minnesota for its STEM Summit with more than 50 science, technology, engineering and math exhibits. "This is a very hands-on experience, and that's what engages the students," said Doug Paulson, STEM specialist for the Minnesota Department of Education. "Years ago, there were only 37 STEM schools in the state, and now we're at 120ish. The programs are really growing."
