Feeling pressure to speed products to market and succeed, companies are using technology to garner consumer input on everything from product names to packaging design. Dannon USA solicited online input from yogurt eaters for its Carb Control product, while Yum! Brands' Taco Bell found out their customers wanted an "indulgent" new burrito, not a low-calorie one.
