Nonresidential construction up in 2004

According to reports from the Census Bureau, nonresidential construction rose throughout the country by 9% in 2004 compared to 2003. "These numbers mark a real turnaround for nonresidential construction and show good acceleration at year end," said Kenneth D. Simonson, chief economist for the Associated General Contractors.
