Investors see opportunity in demand for video-ad management

Videoplaza, a U.K.-based provider of solutions that help providers monetize video content, received $12 million in Series B funding on Wednesday from Qualcomm Ventures and Innovacom, and said it will apply the funds to research and development. Videoplaza's video-ad-management platform integrates with a variety of development protocols and operating systems, including Flash, HTML5 and Android, and it supports video-ad delivery in 17 international markets.
