Israel expands student tours to West Bank city

Officials in Israel will expand a programme that allows schools in Jerusalem to tour the West Bank city of Hebron and the Tomb of the Patriarchs. Officials say the "heritage tours" now will be open to students at all schools, following strong response during the initial pilot programme. The programme is intended to improve students' knowledge of their history and heritage, officials said.
