Wage growth remains sluggish, data indicate

The government's Employment Cost Index, which looks at employees' wages and benefits, increased 1.9% last year and hasn't surpassed 2.5% since 2008. One reason wage growth has been weak is that health care spending has been increasing at a slower pace since the recession, Peter Coy writes.
