White House cybersecurity order set for February, senator says

The Obama administration will release its much anticipated executive order on cybersecurity sometime after the State of the Union address by President Barack Obama later this month, according to Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del., who chairs the Senate homeland security committee. The order, which would create a set of voluntary guidelines for companies involved in critical infrastructure, is a response to Congress' failure to enact cybersecurity legislation last year.
