FSU School of Nursing to begin DNP program in fall

Florida State University's College of Nursing will begin offering a doctorate of nursing practice degree this fall to keep pace with changing requirements. The program puts the school in compliance with new standards from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, which require nurses going for an advanced practice job to complete a DNP by 2015. FSU will offer two doctorate programs, one for family nurse practitioners and one in health care systems.
