Companies avoid super PACs because of publicity

Scott Talbott, senior vice president of government affairs for The Financial Services Roundtable, says many companies avoid donating to the "super PACs" because of the public-reporting requirement. A national boycott of Target in 2010 because of reported donations to a conservative Minnesota Republican candidate for governor makes other companies "gun-shy," Mr. Talbott says.
